Traditional Style With a Contemporary Twist
Manea Polynesia
Means: Beauty of Polynesia
To us this meaning, this passion for all Polynesian Islands, is a mantra for every performance, every practice, and our daily lives.
Manea continues to bring the elements of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air into each performance.
This season's focus has evolved out of our great respect for this Mother Earth and her Gifts!!!!

For the past 5 years, Manea has received a 5 star rating from our clients on Yahoo, and as a professional performance and theater group, was proud to receive 2nd place in the 2008 Channel 7's A-List awards for Theater Groups.

Manea Polynesia: Recognizing the beauty and passion of the Polynesian culture, we have dedicated our efforts to reproducing traditional and modern dances with our own unique passion and professionalism. We are determined to keep the Polynesian spirit alive, even in the landlocked state of Colorado, expanding our troupe to include a host of dancers who seek to express their true Island passion.

As we continue to integrate more unique performers, our Halau (group) expands to express our traditional, yet personal interpretation of these dances. Not only do we enjoy offering great entertainment and custom performances, but we enjoy partnering with our surrounding communities to express a passion for Hula and other forms of Polynesian Dance.

Manea Polynesia represents the new generation in an ever-evolving Polynesian culture. Many of us and/or our families have made journeys leaving our beloved islands behind for new opportunities though never forgetting the importance of our culture along the way. It is the influence of these travels that has triggered the creative evolution that has shaped our identity and it is the strong foundation of tradition that defines who we are. It is our goal to celebrate our heritage as a new generation, embrace remarkable, lifetime tradition, and to share that knowledge with others. It is our mission to continue to establish, maintain, and further grow the true spirit of aloha, both within ourselves, and others.
